1. Returning A Purchase

JIMBU respects consumer rights, and you have the right to return unsatisfactory
goods. We would like to make your customer experience as pleasant as possible. If you have bought any goods and you are experiencing problems where the item received has been found to have a material or manufacturing defect or does not conform to the product that was ordered and you would like to return them, then we will be happy to assist.
You may return any unsatisfactory goods to JIMBU with no undue or additional risk or expense to yourself and we will, upon verification and inspection, either replace the goods, credit your account, or refund the full purchase price provided that:

  • there is a valid proof of purchase (i.e. Invoice/ Delivery Note)
  • the product is returned within 14 days of purchase
  • the product is in its original packaging or condition (i.e. not worn/ soiled or
  • otherwise damaged)
  • there is no evidence of damage or abuse and that the product was used for the sole intended purpose

Please note: Products or goods purchased by way of custom or manufactured to order are non-returnable and will only be replaced if found to be defective.

In order to expedite your return please complete the necessary Product Return/
Exchange form (See link) and follow the steps outlined below:

Include Product Return/ Exchange confirmation, received by mail, in your returns
parcel;

Include a copy of original proof of purchase (i.e. Tax Invoice/ Delivery Note);
Address return parcels to Att: Returns Clerk, JIMBU,

Should you require JIMBU to arrange collection of the returns parcel, please contact your account manager via email or give them a call on 031-171-0860.

Please refer to the original Tax Invoice or Delivery Note number when contacting your
account manager.

2. Exchanging a Purchase:

JIMBU will accommodate any exchange/replacement request on any “stock product”
ordered should the incorrect size or product have been ordered provided that:

  • the item being returned for exchange is a stock item and was not manufactured to order;
  • there is a valid proof of purchase (i.e. Invoice/Delivery Note);
  • the product is returned for exchange within 14 days of purchase;
  • the product is in its original packaging or condition (i.e. not worn/soiled or otherwise damaged);
  • there is no evidence of damage or abuse and that the product was used for the sole intended purpose.

Please note: All courier and admin costs relating to the upliftment and delivery of
exchanges will be for the customer’s account.

3. Defective Products:

If the goods purchased are found to be defective; are not of good quality; cannot be
used and are not durable for a reasonable period of time; and/or are not in good
working order; or are not compliant with any applicable standards set under the
Standards Act, 1993 (Act No. 29 or 1993), or any other public regulation; then the goods
may be returned to JIMBU within 14 days of purchase.

In the above event JIMBU will:

  • repair or replace the failed, unsafe or defective goods; or
  • fully refund the purchase price of the goods.

No returns/ refunds or exchanges will be honoured without proof of purchase.
Refunds will be initiated once all goods are returned to JIMBU and will be processed
to the account or credit card that payment was received from. Refunds could take up
to fourteen days
